(Freshman, Sophomores & Juniors) A Traditonal SAT Preperation Program for Students who are preparing for their 1st or 2nd SAT Test: 10 Weeks / 20 Hours Instruction Class meets once weekly for 2 hours (1 hour Math, 1 hour Language Arts) for 10 weeks. Each section of the test is covered in depth including: • Critical Reading: o Sentence Completions o Passage Based Reading, • Writing: o Improving Sentences o Identifying Sentence Errors o Improving Paragraphs o the Essay • Mathematics: o Numbers & Operations o Algebra & Functions o Geometry & Measurement o Data Analysis, statistics & Probability Diagnostic SAT practice tests are given to identify each student’s particular strengths and needs. Personalized plan is developed for maximum score attainment. Vocabulary etymology and word families are utilized. Math strategies are taught for common mistake avoidance and multiple paths to solutions. (Juniors) Intensive SAT Preparation Program Designed to see students through from preparation for 1st test through re-adjustment for 2nd test. 14 Weeks / 28 Hours Instruction Class meets once weekly for 2 hours (1 hour Math, 1 hour Language Arts) for 14 weeks, over a 18 week period: • 10 weeks of traditional preparation leading up to one of the 3 QAS US SAT dates (Oct., Jan. or May), • 4 week hiatus during which they have weekly practice assignments while waiting for scores • 4 weeks of re-targeted SAT preparation dictated by specific score results of 1st SAT • Critical Reading: o Sentence Completions o Passage Based Reading, • Writing: o Improving Sentences o Identifying Sentence Errors o Improving Paragraphs o the Essay • Mathematics: o Numbers & Operations o Algebra & Functions o Geometry & Measurement o Data Analysis, statistics & Probability Cost: $1,495.00 Materials & Resources for all courses

(Seniors) An Essential Skills Summary Review Designed for Seniors who will be taking the SAT for the 3rd & final time. 5 Weeks / 10 Hours Instruction Class meets once weekly for 2 hours (1 hour Math, 1 hour Language Arts) for 5 weeks of traditional preparation review leading up to one of their 3rd SAT attempt. Same material is covered as traditional program in Option 1 but in a more condensed and targeted manner. • Critical Reading: o Sentence Completions o Passage Based Reading, • Writing: o Improving Sentences o Identifying Sentence Errors o Improving Paragraphs o the Essay • Mathematics: o Numbers & Operations o Algebra & Functions o Geometry & Measurement o Data Analysis, statistics & Probability Cost: $575.00 Materials & Resources for all courses
